Living is what we all do ... and we live in various ways. (Do the good die young?).
The various ways include having fun, doing good deeds, being of service, loving, learning, building... And more!??
When a person dies we say - May their memory be for a blessing... And I'm told that means may what we who live will LIVE... and be blessings with the person who has passed in mind ... and perhaps we carry-on some of their works ... since all works are never completed.
My sister Debbie, Debra, Deborah -- DEBRA LOUISE FIRESTEIN had fun and did good deeds and served and loved and learned and built.... I'm not fully sure what all those things specifically were and when but in future I may learn more and I can do...Something for people who have vision problems as she wanted donations to go to: Research to prevent blindness... I just sent letters of inquiry off ... including one relative to guide dogs for the blind. If any of those inquiries lead to something I will feel carrying on some of Debra's service and good deeds is happening.
As for fun --- Ah... she did like her fun. Travel, shows, food, museums....I can think of her while doing any of those although my life has often been filled with such fun independently of her. That goes for loving and learning and building though adding thoughts of Debra might be a good thing to add for me and her spirit/soul.
AND SO IT GOES...!!!

the Jewish question(s)
IF LGBT+ folks are accepted and I hope they are ... ... and if marriage for them is ok... THEN how does that relate to children and the children's status as Jews?
How does one practice Judaism.... People ask why - or why be Jewish ... but specifically - How? What do we do when we are Jewish...?? More on this tomorrow....
