Virus - Day 9 (there is hope in this post)

This "day" dating is when I began to try to write each day and as noted in some posts -- I have missed certain days. Sorry.

Today is Day 9, Tuesday, March 24, 2020... and a visit with my hospice person is postponed again ... til it is warmer and safer. I hope to "zoom" or something with him and/or his wife so as to maintain some connection.

I asked my therapist if she is using zoom for a session ... I think a session could be useful.

I must note, relative to some zoom sessions/classes I have taken -- a teacher is good or bad or whatever no matter if in person or on zoom. Knowledge and how they talk to or with or at you doesn't change. Not surprising.

It is about 9:15am --- and I am breaking off this writing to look into using skype... Valerie/Michael seem able to do that. Later.......

And - now here is a quote I like and is not on my sig for emails:
“Hope
Smiles from the threshold of the year to come,
Whispering 'it will be happier'...”
― Alfred Lord Tennyson

ALSO -- a poem by Emily Dickinson:
Hope is the thing with feathers
Emily Dickinson - 1830-1886

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
I've heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,

It asked a crumb of me.
